Just outside Clapham this bolted features sport routes mainly in the 6a+ grades. Quick drying and one of the best views in the Dales. Car share from J36 Auction Mart

Novice Friendly Crag The highest car park of the season, at the top of the Wrynose Pass. Both crags have immaculate rock and are well worth visiting, with Long Scar offering more routes in the easier grades. Meeting point: Plumgarths layby

Probably mostly climbing on the more amenable South Crag. This easily accessible crag offers a great selection of West facing routes for a good evenings climbing. The north side holds multi-pitch VS+ routes of a somewhat serious nature. Car sharing from Plumgarths layby

Swindale is a lovely valley and it’s always great to climb here. Gouther has some fine routes of varying lengths across two main buttresses. Beware the midges! Carshare from: Layby on R on A6 1Km N of Morrisons

Novice Friendly Crag. Limestone loveliness with amazing sunset views. Choose between routes (and some bouldering) at Farleton or bouldering at Newbiggin on the other side of the fell. Very limited parking, car sharing essential - J36 Auction Mart

A bolted venue located near St Johns in the Vale, there is plenty to go at, at all grades. Some loose rock though so helmets well advised!
