    Sunny sheltered limestone crag with mainly sport lines; some trad at MVS and above.

  • Kettle Crag, Langdale

    Delightful little crag, unjustly neglected; worth a visit for sub-E grades. Note UKC approach notes.

  • Oxenber

    Pleasant west-facing crag with worthwhile rock and outlook toward Austwick; likely new venue for the club.

  • Kirkstone Buttress

    Single-pitch crag 10 minutes from Red Screes car park at top of Kirkstone Pass; good outlook; easy parking and short walk; OS ref NY400085.

  • Raven Crag, Langdale

    Great venue for a club day; wide variety of routes with many in Severe and VS grades; classic venue.

  • Runestone Quarry

    Overlooks Little Langdale Tarn; many bolted routes with reasonable number around grade 5 and plenty above.

  • Gouther Crag, Swindale

    Lovely valley crag with fine routes across two main buttresses; reasonable number of lower-grade routes. Beware midges.

  • Twistleton Scars

    Popular limestone crag overlooking Ingleborough; huge choice of short routes. Paid farm parking so car sharing advisable.

  • White Ghyll

    High Langdale crag; steep ghyll approach but superb climbing makes up for it.

  • Attermire Scar

    Above Settle; short limestone routes that pack in the moves; wide range of grades with trad protection.
